Katarina Ageborg

Biography

She is the Chief Compliance Officer of AstraZeneca AB Company. She served as active Employee AstraZeneca AB Company for few years. She is a recipient of many awards and grants for her valuable contributions in her field of Interest. She is at the Editorial Board Member of many peer reviewed journals and as her area of expertise credits of Advisory Board of Marketing with many publications in national and international journals. She is committed to the highest standards of excellence and dedication to her Professional duties as it proves through her hard work and authorship of many Books and Articles. Katarina was appointed Chief Compliance Officer and a member of the SET on 1 July 2011. She has overall responsibility for the delivery, design and implementation of the Company’s compliance programme and since her appointment has driven increased efficiency and effectiveness in compliance. She has also assumed responsibility for Safety, Health & Environment, and most recently in 2015 for the Company’s sustainability programme. Katarina led the Global IP function from 2008 to 2011, during which time she streamlined the organisation and launched a new patent filing strategy. After joining AstraZeneca in 1998, she held a series of senior legal roles supporting Commercial, Regulatory and IP. Prior to AstraZeneca, Katarina established her own law firm and worked as a lawyer on both civil and criminal cases. Katarina holds a Master of Law Degree from Uppsala University School of Law in Sweden.
