Biography
Mr. Axel Sjöblad, MBA. EMBA has been Managing Director of BioGaia AB since March 1, 2016. Mr. Sjöblad serves as Managing Director of Getinge Sverige AB. He served as President of Sales and Service - North and Central Europe at Getinge Infection Control and MD Getinge Sweden AB; Regional Vice President of Northern European Markets at Gambro Lundia AB; Regional Vice President of Nordic and Benelux at Gambro Lundia AB and MD Gambro Sweden AB. He has extensive experience in marketing and sales. Mr. Sjöblad has been a Member of the Board at VM Bolaget 2011 AB. He served as a Director of Vigmed Holding AB (publ) from 2015 to June 20, 2017. He holds Executive MBA from Stockholm School of Economics, M.Sc. in Business Administration and Economics from the University of Lund.
