Biography
Dr. Takatoshi Yogo is a principal scientist at Takeda. He earned his Ph.D. in chemical biology under the supervision of Prof. Tetsuo Nagano at the University of Tokyo. He has >10 years' experience as a medicinal chemist at Takeda and contributed to the design and synthesis of several preclinical candidates in metabolic disease area and inflammation disease area. During his career he worked as a visiting scientist at Takeda San Diego (currently Takeda California) in 2011. He has published peer-reviewed papers in the area of chemical biology and medicinal chemistry. He is currently leading medicinal chemistry team and working on the expansion of external collaboration opportunities.
