Biography
Timothy P. Heffron is a Senior Scientist at Genentech. As a medicinal chemist and chemistry and research team leader Timothy has contributed to the advancement of programs directed toward treatments for neuro-oncology, oncology (including cancer immunotherapy), neurology, and ophthalmology indications. Timothy has contributed to seven molecules that have advanced to Clinical Development, four of which came under his leadership as a chemistry team leader, including taselisib (Phase III). Timothy completed his undergraduate studies in Chemistry at Yale University and his doctoral studies at MIT.
