Sandra Candefjord

Biography

Sandra has previously worked as a veterinary surgeon and veterinarian at Varbergs Animal Clinic. She has been working at the Blue Stars Animal Hospital since February 2012. Sandra's main interest is emergency and intensive care and since February 2016 she is a veterinary surgeon for the emergency and intensive care clinic. She is also responsible veterinarian for blood bank and transfusion medicine as well as providing regular first aid education for the Swedish Animal Bug. Since 2015, Sandra has been part of the Digital Media Commitment of the European Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society (EVECCS). Sandra thinks that the best thing about being a veterinarian is the interaction with animals as well as humans, as well as the detective work medical investigations can mean. Belongs to the Blue Star Intensive Care Team.
