Feldt, Robert

Biography

"Dr. Feldt is a Professor of Software Engineering at Blekinge Institute of Technology, Sweden and part time at Chalmers University, Sweden. He is a member of the Steering Committee for the International Conference for Software Testing, Verification and Validation (ICST) and regularly reviews for more than 15 of the top Software Engineering related journals. His main areas of interest are automated and search-based software engineering, behavioral software engineering (psychology and sociology of software engineers/teams), software testing and requirements engineering. His approach is mainly empirical with applied research close to practice. Prof. Feldt has over twenty years of industrial experience, manages his own consultancy company, and serves on several boards in companies developing cutting edge technology and products. In recent years he has been founding several startup companies to explore solutions from his research. Prof. Feldt supervises several PhD students and leads research projects in collaboration with many companies, including SAAB, Ericsson, Cap Gemini, Danfoss, Swedbank, and ABB. "
