Biography
"Dr. Mikael Svahnberg is an Associate Professor of Software Engineering at Blekinge Institute of Technology since 2008. He graduated in 2004 with his PhD ""Supporting Software Architecture Evaluation"". Dr. Svahnberg has done industry research on software product line evolution and architecture evolution, architecture evaluation, software variability, requirements prioritization, requirements structuring, process assessments, and software reuse. His current interests are in architecture recreation through static code analysis, and in particular the types of evaluations, e.g. of performance or variability, that can be made on the recreated architecture. Dr. Svahnberg has been the main or co-supervisor for six PhD candidates, and is currently the main supervisor for two candidates and co-supervisor for one more. Their research projects have ranged from technical product management to waste reduction in parallel development branches, requirements prioritization, software quality alignment, requirements engineering decision support, and software architectures for spoken web applications."
