Richard J. Davies

Biography

  Mr. Richard J. Davies has been the Chief Executive Officer of Bonesupport Holding AB (publ). Mr. Davies has been the Chief Commercial Officer and Senior Vice President of Hospira Inc. since February 2, 2012. Mr. Davies is responsible for developing and executing Hospira 's global commercial strategies and delivering profitable revenue growth across the product portfolio. He has been the Chief Executive Officer of BONESUPPORT AB since January 22, 2016. He has more than 20 years of diverse strategic and operational experience gained through a variety of commercial management positions and across a range of products and technologies. He served as the Chief Commercial Officer and Senior Vice President at Hospira Adelaide Pty Ltd. He served as Vice President and General Manager of Japan and Asia Pacific for Amgen from August 2011 to February 2012, where he was responsible for establishing Amgen's business in the region as well as supporting its strategy development for emerging markets overall. He also served as Vice President and General Manager, Asia and Latin America from November 2010 to August 2011, Vice President of Sales Inflammation Business Unit from January 2009 to November 2010 and General Manager of Australia until 2008. He serves as the Chairman of ALVOTECH ehf. He served on the Board of Zydus Hospira Oncology Products Ltd., and of several trade associations in Poland and Australia. Mr. Davies holds Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Warwick. He holds a B.Sc. in Applied Chemistry from Portsmouth University.
