Biography
Margareta Rämgård is a nurse, midwife, file. PhD in Cultural Geography / Health Geography and Associate Professor in Health Sciences. She has, along with Shaerström and Löfman, written the first Swedish book on the subject of health geography and works to integrate social, existential and spatial aspects of care and care in family-focused and person-centered care. She has also worked with care and care staff in interactive research projects to improve the care of the municipal health care in palliative care and dementia care and studied professional collaboration in various healthcare contexts. Her dissertation relates to the importance of place anchoring for families when they have their first child.
