Biography
Jonas Valantinas director of the Centre, professor, habilitated doctoral degree, is a physician gastroenterologist. He has been practising in the university hospitals of Switzerland, Sweden and USA. He is the author of some monographs, educational books and more than 200 scientific articles. Member of the editorial staff of several medicine journals and member of the World society of Gastroenterologists, member of the board of the European Federation of Gastroenterologists and the President of Lithuanian Society of Gastroenterologists.

Jonas Valantinas main research interest is gastroenterology and Hepatology. The author has more than 200 scientific articles in gastroenterology.
