Biography
Alexandra Lavers is a doctoral student in the Division of Water Environment Technology, research group Urban Metabolism at Chalmers. Alexandra is developing a method to help municipalities choose the most effective environmental measures with regards to consumption. The method combines material flow analysis (MFA) and life cycle assessment (LCA) to find focus areas with high environmental impact; this will help guide municipalities to the most effective measures. Policies are also evaluated with respect to impact on material flows and thus impact on the environment.
