Biography
Anna is a doctoral student at the division of Water Environment Technology at Chalmers and is involved in research concerning sources, generation and emissions of persistent organic pollutants (POPs) and their colloidal fractions in road runoff. The project is funded by FORMAS and includes the investigation of processes responsible for formation of colloidal POPs as well as suggesting optimal techniques to prevent the POPs from reaching road runoff and receiving waters. The project is carried out within the Nordic Five Tech cooperation (http://www.nordicfivetech.org/) and the outcomes of this research will contribute to meeting the environmental goals set out by the European Union in the Water Framework Directive.
