Carlos Gil Berrocal

Biography

arlos is an industrial doctoral student at the Division of Structural Engineering, in the research group Concrete Structures, at Chalmers. As an industry-employed doctoral student from Thomas Concrete Group, Carlos focuses his research on durability of concrete structures with regard to corrosion of reinforcement in combination with fibre reinforcement. The aim of the research is to better understand how fibre reinforcement influences the corrosion process of steel reinforcing bars embedded in concrete when exposed to chloride environments.
