Biography
Prof. Derek Creaser is involved in research dealing with model reduction and development for heterogeneous catalytic reactors. Particular application areas include: * Catalytic fuel reforming for fuel cell power units * Model development for full-scale diesel aftertreatment systems * Microkinetic modeling for NOx reduction catalysis * Selectivity of hydrogenation treatment for biofuel production Common themes in these research projects are emission control and clean energy conversion, primarily for transport applications. Chemical reaction engineering is central teaching subject.
