Biography
Georgios Zachos is a doctoral student at the Division of Applied Acoustics, in the research group Vibroacoustics. The research project aims to develop computational models for sound propagation in urban environments. Considering also their perceptualization, they will be auralized in an an efficient and realistic way. As a part of the SONORUS programme which approaches urban sound planning from a holistic point of view, this project will set a testbed for evaluating urban sound plans, combining the character of the sound of environment with other factors such as social and environmental.
