Biography
Gunnar Lannér is a Senior Lecturer and a Consultant at the Division of Geology and Geotechnics, he also leads the research group Road and Traffic Research. Gunnar began working in 1970 at Chalmers and has since then focused his research on road geometry for road safety. The research is important to the transport department and consultants who have the goal to prevent and avoid accidents. Gunnar is a teacher and a tutor for several courses that has focus on the roads and street planning, construction, operation and maintenance. Also traffic, traffic engineering, and geographic information systems (GIS) and Geodetic Surveying.
