Biography
Halid Can Yildirim is an Assistant Professor at the Division of Structural Engineering, researchgroup Steel and Timber Structures. Halid’s expertise area is fatigue of welded structures with an emphasis on fatigue strength improvement methods by using high-strength steels for lightweight design in industry. Halid has been involved in several international and national research projects. He is an active member of the International Institute of Welding since 2010.
