Biography
Johan is an Assistant Professor at the Division of Geology and Geotechnics, reserach group Engineering geology and geotechnics at Chalmers. His research focuses on the grouting process, focusing on the understanding of rock, water flows, materials and equipment. The goal of the research is to get a more efficient tunneling and developing how to build tunnels. How to release the land surface above the tunnels, both in existing and in new construction and how to protect the environment and cultural buildings. John works in the research group Hydrogeology and rock construction that has collaborations with actors engaged in important community planning research. John also teaches Mountain Construction.
