Biography
Lars-Ove Lång is an Adjunct Professor at the Division of Geology and Geotechnics, research group Environmental geology – land and water resources. He is involved in research on groundwater resourses and quality, groundwater as drinking water and its role in planning processes. He will also work with environmental strategy related to geological issues. He is a member of the DRICKS research group and participates in other projects in environmental geology. Research activities closely relate to his work at the Geological Survey of Sweden as coordinator for the environmental goal ”Good-quality groundwater” and hydrogeological research. Other activities at SGU include the Water Framework Directive and hydrogeological mapping.
