Biography
Board member Tina Mattila Sandholm Member of the Board of Directors since 2014 Member of the Scientific Committee Independent board member Present managerial positions: Tiina Mattila-Sandholm serves as Professor and Executive Advisor to the CEO and the Executive Board of Valio OY, Finland. Ms. Mattila-Sandholm is Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Nutrition Foundation and a member of the Board of Directors of the Natural Resources Institute (LUKE). Board competencies: Over 12 years’ experience as Chief Science Officer (CSO), HRM and Business Group Director in a fast moving consumer goods company, and 30 years of strategic leadership in international academic and industrial R&D. Education: Ms. Mattila-Sandholm holds a Ph.D. from Helsinki University, Finland, and an Honorary Doctorate Degree from Aalto Technical University, Finland. Additionally, she is an Honorary Professor in Finland and Adjunct Professor at University College Cork, Ireland.
