Peter was also Finance Director of Cobra Biomanufacturing Plc up to its acquisition by Recipharm in 2010, and he has been at the Keele facility for more than nine years. Prior to Cobra he was employed in a number of senior financial and corporate development roles. Peter was awarded an MBA with distinction jointly from the Manchester Business School and the University of Wales. Daniel Smith PhD Daniel Smith PhD Prior to his appointment as CSO in June 2014, Daniel was a Knowledge Transfer Manager and Senior Technologist for four years within the bioProcessUK team at the HealthTech & Medicines Knowledge Transfer Network. Formerly, Daniel spent five years at Cobra in roles including Senior Scientist, QC Team Leader, Head of Process Technology Transfer and Commercial Scientific Development Manager. He has over eight years academic research experience, 20+ research publications to his name and a PhD in Molecular Cell Biology. Jason Rahal Jason Rahal Jason has over 25 years of experience in biotechnology. Prior to joining Cobra, Jason worked at Excell Biotech in Edinburgh, Scotland and Stratagene Cloning Systems in La Jolla, CA in various business development and sales positions. Jason has a strong background in molecular biology, beginning his career at Northwestern University in Evanston, IL managing a molecular endocrinology laboratory with several peer reviewed publications. Jason was appointed as Vice President Business Development at Cobra in 2002 and promoted to SVP Business Development in 2006. Jason holds a BA in Biology and Studio Art from Knox College.
