Biography
In my thesis I study cyberbullying in working life. Cybermobbing is a phenomenon that has been triggered due to the increased communication through digital media such as email and text or social media such as Facebook or Twitter. Cyberbullying in working life is a relatively new phenomenon that can be expected to grow and have negative consequences for individuals, organizations as well as society at large. Previously, cybermobbing has been related to children and adolescents and few studies have focused on cybermobbing among adults in working life. The purpose of the dissertation work is to chart the existence of cybermobbing in working life and its different expressions, as well as explain and highlight the impact of cybermobbing on the individual employee and the work organization. I have been admitted as a PhD student on the Migration Program, Urbanization and Social Change (MUSA) at the Department of Urban Studies at Malmö University. Thesis work is also part of a research project at the Center for Applied Work Life Research and Evaluation (CTA).
