Ata Can Atalar

Biography

Ata Can Atalar is an Associate Professor in Istanbul University, Istanbul Medical Faculty. His main interest in clinical practice is shoulder and elbow surgery and arthroscopy. Dr Atalar has received SECEC / ESSSE (European Society for Shoulder and Elbow Surgery) Traveling Fellowship in 2003, and is a member of membership committee of same society SECEC. His main research focused on basic and clinical studies in field of shoulder and elbow surgery. He is a vice editor of Acta Orthopaedica Traumatologica Turcica, Pubmed and SCI Exp indexed orthopaedic journal, and serves as reviewer of JSES (Journal of Shoulder and Elbow Surgery). Dr Atalar published more than 50 peer reviewed articles. He organizes and serves as instructor in shoulder arthroscopy, elbow surgery and AO trauma courses in Turkey and in SECEC meetings.

Research Interest

His research interests lie in Healthcare and Neurology. He is the Editor-in-Chief Member of many peer reviewed journals and his area of expertise credits him with many publications in national and international journals. He is committed to highest standards of excellence and it proves through his authorship of many books.
