Biography
Dr. Richard Garvey received his undergraduate degree from Columbia University, and his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine. He completed his postgraduate training with five years of general and trauma surgery at the Kings County/SUNY Downstate Medical Center, where he served as Chief Resident in General Surgery and was awarded the Golden Apple for teaching excellence
