Biography
Rebecca John is board-certified in both Internal Medicine and in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism. She completed her specialty fellowship training in endocrinology, diabetes, and metabolism at Rush University in Chicago. Prior to this, she completed her Internal Medicine Residency at Michigan State University after obtaining her medical degree at University of Mysore, India. She moved to Colorado in 2007 from Rochester, New York where she was a practicing clinician on teaching faculty at the University of Rochester and Strong Memorial Hospital. Since her move to Colorado, Dr. John enjoys being in private practice where she is able to provide personalized medical care to her patients.
Research Interest
Rebecca John research includes expert consultation in areas such as diabetes mellitus, thyroid disorders, thyroid nodules and cancer, adrenal disease, pituitary disorders, polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) and other hormonal issues related to menstrual cycles. She is certified in ultrasound of the thyroid, and in ultrasound-guided thyroid biopsy.
