Stacey Mitchell

Biography

Stacey Mitchell is a board certified Nurse Practitioner, specializing in endocrinology. She received her BA in Kinesiology from the University of Colorado, and later pursued her BSN from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center, graduating with honors. She then obtained a Master of Science degree from the University of Colorado, College of Nursing, and became accredited as an Adult Nurse Practitioner. Stacey worked for eight years as a certified diabetes educator and continues to conduct diabetes research. She participates in multiple aspects of endocrinology care, particularly diabetes and thyroid management. Trained in advanced assessment, diagnosis and management of multiple medical problems, Stacey provides personal care with compassion and attention.

Research Interest

Stacey Mitchell is active in the close management of diabetes and utilizes advanced technologies and expertise in insulin pumps and continuous glucose monitoring.
