Bente Karlund-pedersen

Biography

Bente Karlund-Pedersen is working as a Researcher in Institute of Diabetes Wellness Network Sweden in Department of Diabetes and Endocrinology at Uppsala university Sweden.  

Research Interest

Bente Karlund-Pedersen is involved in working on developing new treatments for type 1 diabetes. The studies include experimental studies in laboratory environments as well as clinical trials where we try to prevent loss of insulin-producing cells in the onset of diabetes, new insulin-producing cells and replacing lost cells with new transplantation.
