Biography
Mr. Pietschmann holds degrees in information management and applied biology, as well as an Executive Education Certificate from the St. Gallen Management Seminar for Small- to Medium-Sized Enterprises. Since joining GATC Biotech in 2000, he has been responsible for several interdisciplinary projects in the areas of process automation, laboratory information management systems, bioinformatic pipelines and multiple lab- and site setups. Today, as Director IT & Quality Management he is responsible for the following core supporting teams: IT Operations, IT Software Engineering and Internal Services. In addition, he has a special focus on quality management, business continuity and risk management.
