Biography
Dr. Benz holds a degree in biology from the University of Konstanz, Germany, and Northern Arizona University, U.S. He earned his Ph.D. in Microbial Ecology at the University of Konstanz. Dr. Benz then worked as a quality manager from 2000 to 2003. From 2003 to 2007, he was employed as Head of Production at GATC Biotech. In 2007, Dr. Benz was promoted to COO of the company, a position he still holds today.
