Biography
Diana Cavonius-Rintahaka holds a Master's degree in Health Sciences and is a qualified paediatric nurse and a nursing- and family therapy teacher. She is also a qualified psychotherapist/family therapist (Advanced Special Level) and couple psychotherapist. She has been involved in planning, administrating and organising the ADHD and Neuropsychiatric Coach education in Finland. She has been the director of Helsinki ADHD centre and the development manager at the Autism Foundation in Finland. She has also been working at Folkhälsan (Helsinki, Finland), where she has been in charge of planning and developing new family intervention methods that target the needs of different kind of families. She is currently working with neuropsychiatry at Helsinki University Central Hospital (HUCH) within child psychiatry. Her research at GNC is based on a prospective longitudinal follow-up study of such interventions for families with children (4-15 years) with ESSENCE.
