Biography
Gunilla Westman Andersson is a special educator with a background in teaching preschool. She holds a magister's degree in special education as well as an MD degree, and is currently employed as a lecturer at the Department of Education and Special Education at the University of Gothenburg. She has worked in different types of educational institutions, as well as in child and adolescent habilitation services. Between 2001-2017, she worked at the child neuropsychiatry clinic (CNC), investigating children and adolescents with neuropsychiatric disorders. She defended her thesis on preschool children with suspected autism on November 29, 2013.
Research Interest
Her research area is intervention measures for parents and preschool personnel after investigation of children with autism, as a scientific evaluation of the clinical project that has been performed at the CNC.
