Biography
Anne Sofie Roald is a professor of religious science and specialized in Islam. She has experience from several field work and research. Roald has been a researcher and associate professor at Lund University (1990-1999). She has also been a guest researcher at Wales University (1995-96), Abertay University in Scotland (2003-2004) and at the University of Florida, Gainesville (Spring 2009). Roald was Director of the Politics of Faith Research Program at Chr. Michelsen Institute, Bergen, Norway (2006-2010).
