Biography
Josef's dissertation project is about cooperation in public administration, focusing on how co-operation projects in the welfare sector are governed in practice. Theoretically, the project involves relations and organization of public activities, civil servant and politician roles, as well as power and public administration policies. Empirically, how officials at local level interact with vulnerable children and young people. The main methods are observations, interviews and document studies. The dissertation project is part of a larger project on public administration collaboration, involving researchers at Malmö University and Lund University and funded by the Swedish Research Council. Josef has a general interest in public administration and governance, in theory as well as internship, and has previous experience of work in municipal administration. Joseph has a Pol. mag. in Political Science from Lund University, where he is still linked as a graduate student.
