Biography
Maja Povrzanovic Frykman is a professor of ethnology. Teaching Peace and Conflict Science at Global Political Studies (GPS). Research Coordinator at the same institution. External employee (PhD student) at the Faculty of Philosophy in Zagreb. Coordinates IMISCOE (International Migration, Integration and Social Cohesion in Europe) Research Group TRANSMIG - Transnational Practices in Migration. Research areas: migration, highly educated migrants, transnational practitioners, diaspora, warfare, refugee, ethnicity and place, deceptive and material culture.
