Biography
Norman leads our 48,000-person-strong Global Advisory practice, one of the broadest global advisory networks of any professional-services organization. Under his leadership, we help clients solve complex industry issues, capitalize on growth opportunities and operate more efficiently and effectively. We are driving innovation through our expertise in disruptive technology areas like digital and analytics – to name a few, and serving clients across multiple sectors through our vast range of offerings, from cybersecurity to risk transformation. For Advisory, a better working world means delivering outcomes that grow, optimize and protect our clients’ businesses. We are asking better questions, and teaming globally to develop more innovative answers for our clients around the world.
Research Interest
Norman joined the UK firm in 2006 and was appointed Global Chief Operating Officer of the Business Advisory Services (BAS) practice where he led the build of our consultancy business including our Performance Improvement and Risk practices. In 2008, he was given overall responsibility for Advisory and joined the main board in 2009. Prior to joining EY he was Chief Information Officer of International Operations at Anheuser-Busch before joining PwC in 1996. He moved to IBM in 2002 as part of IBM’s acquisition of PwC Consulting, where he held several leadership roles, including EMEIA Financial Services leader.
