Lars A. Lidgren

Biography

  Prof. Lars A. Lidgren, M.D., Ph.D. is the Founder of GWS Production AB (publ), AMeC AB, Scandimed AB and Ultrazonix AB. Prof. Lidgren founded BoneSupport AB in 1999. He served as Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Bone Support HOLDING AB and BONE SUPPORT AB. He has been the Chairman of GWS Production AB (publ) since 2009. He serves as Chairman of Rethinking Care Sweden AB and Academic Medical Group AB. Prof. Lidgren serves as a Non-Executive Board Member of Ultrazonix AB. He serves as a Director of BoneSupport AB. He has been an Independent Non-Executive Director of Orthocell Limited since December 17, 2007. He serves as Director of Algora AB and BONESUPPORT Incentive AB. He served as Chairman of the Board of AM e-Consulting AB and Vardkontat i Lund AB.He has been Director of Bonesupport Holding AB (publ) since 2010. He served as Board Member of Lakartid nu Nordic AB and Oberoende Forsakringar i Sverige AB. He is a Scientific Board member at the National Board of Health and Welfare and member of the Editorial Board of JBJS. He serves as Professor at Lund University, Sweden and Copenhagen University, Denmark. He initiated the worldwide Bone and Joint Decade 2000 - 2010. He serves as Chairman of the International Steering Committee of the Bone and Joint Decade. Prof. Lidgren holds M.D. and Ph.D. at the University Hospital of Lund, Sweden.
