Wenche Rolfsen

Biography

Board member and chairman of the board of directors of InDex Pharmaceuticals Holding AB since 2016 and in InDex Pharmaceuticals AB and member of the board of InDex Diagnostics AB since 2011. Rolfsen was chairman of Denator AB until 2014, Aprea AB and Aprea Personal AB until 2013 and Bionor Pharma until 2011. In addition, she was a board member of Moberg Pharma AB until 2017, Industrifonden until 2016, TFS Trial Form Support International AB until 2015, Pharmacy Production & Laboratories AB until 2015, Aker Biomarine until 2012, Axis Shield until 2012, Swedish Orphan Biovitrum until 2011 and Artimplant AB until 2011. Furthermore, she was Acting CEO in InDex during a short period in 2015.   Rolfsen has 16 years’ experience in leading positions within pre-clinical research and development at Pharmacia. She has been responsible for the early clinical organization at Quintiles Europe and CEO of Quintiles Scandinavia for a total of 11 years. Moreover, she has been a board member of several listed companies since 2005 as well as involved in three previous listings in Sweden and Norway. She holds a PhD in Pharmacology from Uppsala University where she also was associate professor during 9 years.
