Russell W. Sherlock

Biography

Russell W. Sherlock is an entrepreneur with more than 27 years of experience in the health care industry.  This experience includes a background in insurance company, health maintenance organization and third party administrator operations, integrated healthcare delivery systems, medical billing and receivables, as well as insurance brokerage operations.  He has owned and developed businesses in the areas of health care business process outsourcing and medical cost management solutions. Mr. Sherlock earned his B.S. in Business Administration from St. John’s University.  Mr. Sherlock has global experience spanning public and private health care companies including senior executive positions at Wellpoint – Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield, Acordia, Inc.  (now Wells Fargo Insurance), Golden Rule Insurance (now United Healthcare), Outsourced Administrative Systems, Inc. (now Xerox) and Health Systems International. Mr. Sherlock is affiliated with the Board of Advisors for A.N. Ansay and Associates, and the Board of Advisors for TelSpan, Inc. In addition to serving as board member for the IHTC, Mr. Sherlock serves as a member of the IHTC  Compensation Committee.
