Maria has 15 years of experience in business development and management and management issues in health care, both at operational and strategic level. She has worked with overall strategies, knowledge management, implementation and information management. The main area has been health promotion and disease prevention healthcare.

Her research interests lie in Healthcare and Medical Sciences. She is the Editor-in-Chief Member of many peer reviewed journals and her area of expertise credits her with many publications in national and international journals.
