Biography
Master of Science in Chemical Engineering at KTH, Technology Doctor at KTH 1984 and Professor of Microbiology at KTH since 1988. Vice-Rector at KTH 1999-2001. Mathias Uhlén is a member of the Royal Academy of Sciences and the Academy of Engineering Sciences and founder of a number of biotechnology companies, Pyrosequencing (now Biotage), Affibody AB, SweTree Technologies AB and others.
Research Interest
His research interests lie in Healthcare and Medical Sciences. He is the Editor-in-Chief Member of many peer reviewed journals and his area of expertise credits him with many publications in national and international journals. He is committed to highest standards of excellence and it proves through his authorship of many books.
