Biography
Carl-Henrik Heldin (PhD, Pofessor), board member, was born in 1952. Professor Heldin has been Head of the Ludwig Institute for Cancer Research in Uppsala since 1986 and since 1992 Professor of Molecular Cell Biology at Uppsala University. He has been chairman of the Nobel Foundation since 2013. He has a great reputation and network through assignments as adviser to several academic institutes. Professor Heldin is also chairman of the boards for the Science for Life Laboratory and the European Molecular Biology Organization. Through 420 published scientific articles and 205 reviews as well as several prestigious research awards in Sweden, France and the United States, he is an internationally recognized authority in cancer research. Professor Heldin is adviser to biotechnology companies Kolltan Pharmaceuticals (USA) and Molmed S.p.A (Italy). Elected to the Board 2012. Shareholding: 163,285 shares.
