Biography
Guro Gafvelin works as Associate Professor in the Department of Clinical Neurosciences at Karolinska Institute, Sweden. Guro is an immunologist, active in allergy research since 1997. Her own research has conserned allergens and immune regulation in allergy and inflammatory diseases. Her main present research interests include immune modulation by vaccination, in particular allergen specific immunotherapy and characterisation of T-cell responses to autoantigens. She has experience on characterisation of T-cell responses, allergen characterisation, experimental allergy/asthma models, vaccine-/adjuvant research and clinical trials.
