Biography
Professor of Social Medicine at the Karolinska Institutet and medical officer at the Center for epidemiology and Community Medicine, Stockholm County Council. Since 2014 I have a part time position as Secretary General of the Swedish Research Council for Health, Working Life and Welfare. He is trained at the Karolinska Institute but has worked around ten years as professor of Social Medicine at Gothenburg University combined with a post at the public health services of the city and the County Council. He is research group leader of the Social Epidemiology research group at the Department of Public Health Sciences.
