Mark Saxon

Biography

  Mr. Mark Saxon is an Independent Director of Flinders Resources Limited. He is the Professional Geologist. President and Chief Executive Officer of Tasman Metals Ltd. (TSXV:TSM / NYSE- MKT:TAS). Mr. Saxon has over 20 years of experience working as a professional geologist, including being the senior geologist of Pasminco Australia Ltd., a mining company, from 1992 to 2001. He graduated from the University of Melbourne in 1991 with a First Class Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Geology. In 2006, Mr. Saxon achieved a Graduate Diploma of Applied Finance and Investment through the Financial Services Institute of Australia (FINSIA). He is a member of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy and the Australian Institute of Geoscientists and a director of other publicly-listed companies.
