Biography
Krishna Praveen Jonnalagadda works as Researcher in the Department of Management and Engineering at Linkoping University, Sweden. His research aims at better understanding of Thermal Barrier Coatings’ (TBC) behaviour. By understanding the way the coatings behave during cyclic oxidation and corrosion tests, the full potential of TBC’s can be exploited. He is trying to assess the damage evolution by studying the influence of different materials and deposition techniques on the failure mode of TBC systems. By using the available experimental data as input to a life model the goal is to develop a tool that can predict the lifetime of TBC systems.
Research Interest
Thermal barrier coatings, Soft Materials, Nanoparticles, Engineering Materials and Ceramics.
