Biography
Agatino Rizzo, PhD, is associate professor of urban planning and design in the Architecture Research Group at Luleå University of Technology in Sweden. He works at the intersection of planning, design, and geography in contexts as different as Sweden, Finland, Estonia, Canada, Malaysia, Malta, Italy, Singapore, Qatar and the UAE. His main research interests are urbanization and planning also in connection with cross-cutting themes such as resilience, heritage, development, politics, and transdisciplinary knowledge.
