Biography
Anders (Nilsson) Hersinger (PhD, Business Administration) is professor of Accounting and Control. His research addresses technical, organizational and social aspects of accounting and control in a broad sense. Anders has examined issues including the relationships between management accounting, integrated information technology, quality and profitability in manufacturing, risk assessment in banking and auditing, and strategic control and managerial work in small firms. He is advisor of PhD candidates studying the role of management accountants and accounting for operations in a mining context. Anders has extensive teaching experience and is the co-author of a textbook in Swedish on Engineering Management and Organizing published by Liber.
