Biography
I am Arne Nykänen, Senior Lecturer in Engineering Acoustics. I took a PhD degree in Engineering Acoustics in 2008 with a thesis titled "Methods for Product Sound Design". Now, I am doing research and teaching mainly within the following areas: - Design of sound signals and multisensory signals in cars - Interior sounds in electric cars - Perception of tyre sounds in cars - Psychoacoustics for audio engineering and telecommunication
