Biography
I have M. Sc. in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering from Isfahan University of Technology in Iran. I received my doctorate in Materials Chemistry from Stockholm University in Sweden in 2016 under supervision of Professor Zhijian Shen. My PhD focused on metal additive manufacturing of stainless steel grades and disclosing the process-composition-microstructure-properties relationships. I am currently doing postdoctoral research in Dr Farid’s group at Department of Mathematics in the Materials Engineering division in Luleå University of Technology. My research focuses on materials development using thermo-mechanical processing and tailoring of microstructure and properties for high temperature applications. I am also investigating the effect of thermo-mechanical processing on laser fabricated stainless steel and studying the microstructure development and mechanical performance.
