Biography
After having lived most of my life in Switzerland I moved to Göteborg in 1996 to study physics at Göteborgs University. 2001 I was accepted as a PhD student at Chalmers University of Technology. I got my degree in 2006 and shortly thereafter I moved to Luleå. At Luleå university of technology I work as a professor in experimental mechanics. My research involves the development of new tools to study single neurons under hypoxic conditions and the development of a new fast sensor for cancer detection. My special interest lies in optical spectroscopy, optical manipulation and microfluidics, check
